Set in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton, we’ve been welcoming guests to our historic inn since the 17th century. We’re very lucky to have 21 rustic bedrooms offering not just a great night’s sleep but beautiful views that will encourage you to get up and make the most of your day. Don’t leave your four-legged friend at home, our bar and some of the bedrooms are

dog-friendly – after all, exploring the Yorkshire Dales is much more fun with your dog at your side.

You’ll usually find Marcus behind the bar, always happy to have a good chat and make sure everyone feels welcome. Whether you’re after a drink recommendation, talking sport or just enjoying a catch-up, Marcus loves getting to know our customers and helping create a great atmosphere.

When he’s not pulling pints, Marcus is a keen rugby player and currently plays rugby at Cardiff University 🏉. His passion for teamwork and dedication shines through both on the rugby field and behind the bar.🍻
