A close game last night as the Mens dart team won 5-4 at home to an unlucky & much changed Benhall. ‘Dads army’ wins for Adie’snakebite’Holden & Jake’racing snake’Goodwin gave us a good start but soon found ourselves 4-2 down, Nick’pieman’Denny made it for 4-3, Sonny’the fridge’Denny made it 4-4 & it was all down to the last game, up stepped our unlikely hero Max’Co Stompe’Denny, he primed himself well gut-sing down a few fruit ciders, packets of m & m’s & a large voddie to pin his favourite double(one) to bring home the bacon 5-4, unbelievably we even got a smile out of him😳😳. That’s two wins out of two for the ‘dad’s army’. Thanks & well done to Bex & co from Benhall, putting together a whole new team in a few weeks after some changes over there takes some doing, it was great to see some new faces in the dart league(& some good ones at that). Next week we’re on the road but not far as we take on our other team Kelsale B, should be a cracker!
