A proper pub should work just as well for somebody ordering a pint as it does for somebody who doesn’t or can’t drink alcohol, and we never want that second choice to feel like an afterthought. Thatchers Gold has joined the taps at The Castle. 🔥 We’re expecting it to sit very comfortably beside a pie or fish and chips, although nobody will object if you order it on its own. 🍻

We took home The Phoenix Award from the Hooky Awards 2026! ❤️🥂🎉
A pub is only as good as the people who keep it going, so this belongs to the whole Castle team and, in a very real sense, to everyone who uses The Castle as their local, recommends us to friends and got behind us during the awards. We’re extremely proud of this one.
