The hearsay is true after a crisis meeting and with great sadness, very heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to stop trading as a business at The Fleece. With ever increasing wages, and utility bills and less people walking through the door to support hospitality it has made us make a very difficult decision. We have tried our utmost to increase income to cover these costs from events to lunch time activities but have not managed. We have enjoyed being part of the community and creating a hub where families and locals can join us. And made some wonderful friends along the way. Can we say a massive thank you to our loyal customers. We thank our amazing team past and present for the laughs, service and effort they have put in. We will be in touch with future bookings regarding everything. On a final note please support local pubs they are a hub of the community . Over and out from Team Fleece

We are closed this Bank Holiday Monday but open tomorrow for lots of Bingo fun and this week's forecast looks amazing. See you in the week.

Don't forget it's lunchtime bingo on Tuesday. Join us from 12 grab some lunch followed by bingo at 1.30 and an afternoon in the beer garden the weather forecast is set to be a good un. ☀️ Kids welcome :) more the merrier.

Thank you for all your responses to our recent appeal for help to stage this years Otley Carnival.

As requested we have arranged another event where you can find out what's involved and ask questions about the various tasks and roles that make the Carnival come to life.

This is an informal drop in event and gives opportunity to identify how much or how little you're able to contribute, either leading up to the day or on the actual day itself. Any and all help would be extremely welcome.

If you’re interested in making a difference we would love to see there!
