Widely admired tenor saxophonist 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 has worked with Prince, Amy Winehouse and Maceo Parker. Now he realises his own unique voice with Nylon Man, and returns to Milestones, with a musical potpourri of tough rhythms, sensitive compositions, hard bop and funk, Cuban and Brazilian grooves and plenty of jazz improvisation. October's been a strong month for the club when nearly 400 folks came out to support our gigs at the Maddermarket Theatre and at Yalm. Here's a cheeky 1min clip from Nigel Price's set on Sunday evening.. Needless to say, 16 dates into their tour the band were on fire!
