Thursday 19th June 6-8pm
Sunday 28th June 1-3pm

Join us at one or both of our wine tastings in conjunction with

We offer an evening of tasting wine without knowing the producer, the grape or where it comes from in this lovely world, otherwise known as a blind tasting.

As usual, we’ll be tasting 7 wines over two hours in a fun, friendly and easy environment. It’s been scientifically proven that prestige affects how we consider wine, spenny doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll like it.

If you love wine then you’ll love this event. No prior knowledge required!

Tickets are available via the link in our bio. Don’t forget to follow for further details.

And why not download the Norwich Wine Week app for more events and offers.

New Orange Wine by the glass!

Visintini ‘Pinot Grigio’ is a traditional, skin-fermented (Ramato, meaning Copper in Italian) style from Friuli, Italy, known for its distinctive coppery hue, richer texture, and fuller flavor compared to standard Pinot Grigio. It offers complex notes of pear, apple, and flowers, with a dry, fresh, and fruity profile, making it a versatile wine. Unlike the light, crisp, and delicate style many expect from Pinot Grigio, Visintini’s version is more complex. and, it’s perfect for the summer!

We have it by the glass for a limited time, you can also purchase the bottle from our off-licence or have it to drink in, we’re just as versatile as the wine.

Just ask for the Visintini Pinot Grigio at the bar, very bella!

Can we take a moment for the pic Sam snapped this morning please? As you were.

New Wine at The Garnet. We’ve been busy tasting some fab new wines for you to buy, here’s a selection of our favourites.

1. Ripasso Malavoglia Valpolicella 2021, is a premium, organic, and vegan-friendly red wine from Veneto, Italy, crafted from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. It is renowned for being aged in oak for 12–18 months, resulting in a full-bodied, balanced wine with notes of cherry, plum, and spices.

2. Visintini Pinot Grigio 2024 from Friuli, Italy, is a high-quality, often organic, “Ramato” (copper-hued) style wine known for its complexity, notes of pear and peach, and structured minerality. Produced in the Colli Orientali area, this full-bodied, dry wine uses skin contact to create a rich,,, and, distinctive, pinkish-orange, appearance.

3. Bodegas Altolandon, Con Altura Pet-Nat, Manchuela, Spain, 2023, is an exciting, crisp and clean pét-nat. Bursting with floral aromas, honey, orange blossom, mandarin, and juicy stone fruit. Soft, creamy bubbles carry those flavours through on a textured palate, thanks to time on lees. Bright, fresh and dry, with zippy acidity and a herbal twist on the finish.

4. Fattoria Moretto Tasso Lambrusco, is a dry, lightly sparkling (frizzante) red wine from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, known for its dark cherry, red berry, and floral notes, with a crisp, fresh finish. It’s made from the Lambrusco Grasparossa grape and is best served lightly chilled. We’ll soon be serving this deliciousness by the glass in the coming months.

All wines are available to takeaway or drink in with a £7 corkage charge.

Don’t forget to follow where we blind taste some of the wines from our extensive range.
