🍻❤️ More Than Just a Pub Crawl...

On Sunday, 15 of us set off on a little City of Ale adventure, armed with trail maps, good intentions and sensible plans.

Several hours, 8 pubs (I think) and countless laughs later, we may have been a slightly smaller group, but we were still laughing (and just about standing!)

One of the things I love most about running a pub is seeing the friendships that grow from it. Many of the excellent people on Sunday's trail first met at The Rose, and that's also where I first met them too, and they all make my life much brighter.

Pubs aren't just places to drink. They're places where friendships are made, communities are built, and some of life's best memories happen.

Seeing those connections turn into genuine friendships is something really special.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a brilliant day. And of course to all the pubs for putting up with us!

🍺 City of Ale runs until 21st June, so there's still plenty of time to get out and explore. Great beer is guaranteed. New friends? You never know.

The Great Indoor Treasure Hunt was fantastic fun on Saturday afternoon!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and helped raise an amazing £275 for Mission Remission.

Congratulations to Team Norfolk Rebels for taking the top spot, and thank you to Boudicca Brewery for generously supplying the prizes.

It was a fantastic afternoon of clues, quizzes, teamwork and friendly competition, all for a great cause ❤️

Well that was grape fun… 🍷😉

A fabulous night of wine tasting with Ben Thompson of CH Wines – from a sparkly treat to an orange wine (which definitely got people talking!), it was a brilliant evening of lovely wines, cheese, chat and good company.

Thanks to everyone who came along – can't wait for the next one! 🍷🧀

The Norwich City of Ale festival has officially started and you can find us on the St Stephen’s Trail alongside The Crown Point Tavern, Redwell Taproom, Freemasons Arms, King’s Arms & Trafford Arms 🍻

At The Rose we’ve got the extremely tasty ‘No Submission’ on tap – a delicious summer ale brewed by Ampersand x Adnams especially for City of Ale and raising funds for Mission Remission 🌞🍺

Plus plenty more lovely brews including the beautiful Boudicca Queen of Hops, alongside our usual combo of great beer, pizzas & cheeseboards 🧀🍕🍻

And to top it all off, the brilliant Smokin Hand Band are back with us Saturday from 8pm bringing a night of classic rock favourites 🎸🔥
