Day 1 of the Pottery! This feels like a big moment and it’s almost 1 year late and we couldn’t have known that when we took a break. Me and Rosie back together as a dangerous duo. Big announcement about all this later but I wanted to mark the day. And thanks for all the help. It’s amazing to be a pottery back on the original site of the world’s largest pottery!

Spending a day with dad in the bakery. Our bakery doesn’t have any lofty ambitions, we make a little bit of bread for the restaurant, cakes and a pretty decent sandwich.

Mikolaj is 5 months old now and he’s got these bright eyes curious to see what’s going on around him. He’s recently realised that he can move any one of his limbs where he wants and at will! So you can now see him making decisions and joining up the world around him. Super interesting to see.

Honestly it’s exhausting a bit when running a restaurant but there’s nothing I’d change about it. If any of you see me or Kat in the restaurant with the baby feel free to say hello.

What’s really nice about having him here and Kat breast feeding is that it’s completely normalised being a mum in public in every way. And we are seeing even more mums in Kiln. To the point where we’ve adjusted the floor plan again to get more prams in.

Parenting! Amazing journey! I’m proud to introduce him to you all the people who make kiln a beautiful and friendly place.

Many of you want to be healthy right now (no doubt). Well, resolutions are tough because you’ve gotta have discipline and that’s just too much pressure! 2026 is going to be a year full of happiness and not stress! In my opinion healthy food is food cooked fresh and from scratch and nothing ultra processed.

So if you want to eat tasty food that is healthy Kiln cooks everything from scratch every single day. And it’s a pain but it’s important so we do it none the less! Since day one and forever!
