A huge thank you to and for hosting our first staff meal since opening the new venue. It was about time we let our hair down and celebrated the big move and everyone’s hard work properly, especially as the team has at least tripled in size since we were at the at the arch; a distant memory now!

The food was delicious, the wine was fantastic and the company was top notch. Cheers to Ethan, Ailsa and John for pulling this all together and making enough to feed the five thousand. Thank you to Keeley for documenting the night as well; I’m in love with these photos

The Kernel are one of the founding fathers of the UK craft beer scene, being a mainstay in every good venue since they started back in 2009. They’ve just announced a fresh selection of single hopped beers, showcasing the versatility of Citra in five different styles and Kernel’s Dom is coming to us to talk us all through them! We will be trying 6 beers at the tasting, with a left-field surprise beer as a book-end after the Citra exploration.

I honestly can’t wait for this one as they never disappoint and it will be great to see how just one hop can be the backbone of some quite contrasting styles.

Alongside our silly big beer selection, we’ve got some unreal new natty wines in from Étienne Seignovert in Ardèche, Rhône. These blew me away when I first tried them, so I’m very excited to have them in Mosaic.

Carpenter is Track’s new hand picked single hopped Citra 7% from the family-owned Carpenter ranch in Granger, Washington. It’s absolutely stunning tbh

Affine is Beak’s latest DIPA, super smooth, full of Columbus, Citra & a dash of Motueka - this is going down a treat as well!
