Special thanks to Katrina Kadoski, the Dobres Family House Concert & the artistic community of Sooke BC Canada for our iMtv Sooke Music Week, a house concert, two beautiful listening room shows, a top notch open mic and even a play in a prison - more on all of that to come on iMTV.

Meanwhile back to Adam Beattie with Fiona Bevan's Music taking the lead this time.

Fiona Bevan is a multi-platinum Canadian-British singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based,, with life parter and musical collaborater Adam in London.
Raised in Suffolk, England, she has built a successful career both as a solo artist and as a sought-after songwriter for major international stars.

Interesting literaterar side note Fiona comes from notable lineage through her Scottish and British ancestry—her great-grandmother was the Scottish romantic novelist D. E. Stevenson, making her a relative of author Robert Louis Stevenson.

Katrina Kadoski is at the heart of the cultural scene that seems to grows naturally and organically in the community here. I'm very pleased to say she has been my guide for much of my stay so far. Thanks so much Kat.

I first met Adam in 2011 when he was playing with The Bonfire Band - they were about the busiest band in Folk & Roll, continuinlly on tour. I had a long standing Radio show and kept a listening room trail open in the Highlands at the time, they were favourites and also and also favourites with the Insider Festival and Belladrum on my wee stage - as the band fell away Adams solo songwriting career carried on and went from strength to strength - now touring internationally with music and life partner Fiona Bevan, performing collaboratively as an acoustic song writing duo & touring with there 2 year old daughter. Our paths happen to cross in Sooke Vancouver Island again yesterday, it was a beautiful thing. More from this concert including a full Fiona Bevan feature later this week.
