Behind every great local pub is a team
 and sometimes, it’s the family who step in too. ☘

The Shanakee Colindale has been family-run for generations, and when the pub gets busy, everyone mucks in. Here, Pat Joyce jumps behind the bar to lend a hand to Ian, the manager.

It’s what small Irish pubs have always been about—family, friends, live music, and good craic.

Sometimes the best moments are the ones you never plan.

During Rí Rua’s session at The Shanakee Colindale, this gentleman picked up the guitar and joined in for a song.

The whole pub stopped to listen, and for a few minutes, it was pure Irish tradition at its finest. ☘đŸȘ•

A perfect way to round off two fantastic Sundays. â˜˜ïžđŸŽ¶

A huge thank you to RĂ­ Rua for two brilliant afternoons of Irish traditional music at The Shanakee Colindale, and to everyone who came along, sang along, and helped create such a great atmosphere.

We’re already looking forward to the next one!

It was a lovely surprise to see AJ, who regularly performs at The Shanakee Ealing, drop into The Shanakee Colindale to enjoy an afternoon of Irish traditional music with RĂ­ Rua.

That’s what it’s all about—good music, familiar faces, and supporting local musicians. Thanks for calling in, AJ. It was great to see you!

The Shanakee Colindale has been part of the local community for 23 years. It’s a small, welcoming Irish pub where everyone’s welcome for a pint, a chat, and a bit of good craic. We’ve got plenty more planned too, including karaoke nights, so stay tuned!
