We’re Hiring: A Packaging Assistant
Anspach & Hobday makes traditional b**r in a modern way. We are looking for a hard working, conscientious and passionate Packaging Assistant to join our team.
This full time role will be based at our brewing facility in Croydon (CR0 4WP) with a focus on the keg, cask and can packaging of b**rs. The role is diverse and will involve working closely with the Production Manager, Daniel Gambino, Packaging Team Lead Steve Grae, and Head of Production, Paul Anspach. The role will largely fall within the working week, however some weekend work may be required and an early/late shift pattern may be employed to facilitate longer packaging runs.
This position is ideal for someone with prior packaging experience who is looking to develop and broaden their skillset. It will also suit someone looking to learn about the packaging industry who enjoys manual tasks and processes.
Anspach & Hobday is growing. We are expecting to take on further packaging roles in the coming year, so this role will become part of an expanding team.
The role will involve:
Packaging of b**r, including:
Setup & Close down
Kegging
Casking
Canning
Labelling
Accurate record keeping
Stock taking and management
Cleaning of packaging equipment and Fermentation Vessels
General cleaning and housekeeping of production and warehouse area
The ideal candidate:
Relevant working experience.
A passion for b**r quality.
Enjoy record keeping, monitoring and attention to detail.
A keen interest in packaging and production methods.
A spirit of innovation and understanding of best practices.
Adaptability.
Proven team working.
A forklift license is desirable.
Proficiency in the use of pallet trucks and warehouse duties.
Please be aware that this is a physically demanding role, manual handling training will be provided.
Remuneration:
£29,000-33,000 (LLW+) based on experience.
