Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with Carne Asada (we know you’re looking for a real Mexican experience) 🇲🇽
Carne asada is the most family-like way to celebrate any special occasion. Ask any Mexican family what carne asada really is, and food is only half the answer. It’s a whole experience. From a chill Sunday with the family to a big fiesta just like this one, you’ll always find someone guarding the grill to get the perfect steak, while others prep the guac and snacks, and hand everyone a beer.

On Wednesday 16th September, we’re bringing that same spirit of gathering and celebration to Corrochio’s.

On the grill: bavette steak, and cactus steak for our veggie familia. On the side: queso fundido molcajetes, salsas, guacamole, and charro beans. And of course, on the mic at 9.30pm sharp: our own “Miguel Hidalgo,” ringing the bell and shouting the grito right along with the whole room.

What’s a bank holiday Sunday without some ice cold bebidas? Micheladas 🍻 all day of course, and £8 margs happy hour from 12-5pm!

1) It’s Friday, so live a little and enjoy two or three… or more Miches (‘cause nobody’s counting [wink emoji])
2) Summer’s almost over, so this is the perfect time to enjoy the sunshine with your favourite cold Michelada in hand

Con caguamas en mano, comida sabrosa y pasos prohibidos 🍻💃 Last night’s Cantina Norteña with Borrecito was everything we hoped it would be, and honestly, a little more.

Watching the room fill up with people who came ready to eat, drink, and dance along to the Norteño band was exactly the energy we were chasing when we first started planning this one. Tables covered with guacarrón, fideo seco, tacos and chamorros, drinks made with PENSADOR, DESDEYA and House of Schweppes Europe going round all night, and a dancefloor that genuinely never stopped moving.

To Daniel Carrillo and Borrecito gracias por cocinar con tanto corazón, and for bringing a piece of Northern Mexico all the way to Dalston. And to everyone who came through and made it what it was, this one wouldn’t have been the same without you. Ya se armó, de verdad 🇲🇽🇬🇧🔥
