20+ years ago a few friends got together for a beer and to make some music. The Rocket journey began and still continues. We play for the enjoyment of the audience and that is always our aim. Never taking ourselves too seriously, we enjoy a laugh and seeing smiles. Regulars at the Stamford and for Groby Rocks, now it’s time to finish the event for you. We feed off your energy so bring it in bucket loads.
Playing an electric mix of songs covering 7 decades we have something for everyone in a variety of styles including Rock, funk, soul, indie and ska. Artists come covered include Thin Lizzy, Dire Straits, The Specials, Tina Turner, The Commitments and Franz Ferdinand. We encourage you to join in the fun and bring your dancing shoes.
