Tomorrow night - to kick off the bank holiday weekend:
Chill on the Hill is returning to Croft hill and then for the first time has been kind enough to carry on the vibes at the pub from around 9:30pm

Weather dependent Gaston will be set up outside in the smoking area/courtyard for you all to enjoy!

We’re really looking forward to this and hope you’ll join us for some great music and a fab atmosphere 👌🏻🎶

Leaving The Bricklayer’s pub; Sharnford around 11am, they will be riding through Huncote about 11:10am

Our smoking area has been removed and replaced with a fab kids play area
Drop your kids off £50 play and stay for the day

We’ve also added fruit shoots on draft and removed strongbow cider (sorry Andy 😙😉)

Polite notice:
As the weather gets better our garden has been opened for our customers to enjoy.
We remind everyone that children must be supervised at all times and the garden furniture and play equipment has to be used properly.

We regret to say that last night, a group decided to break chairs in the garden, and then when entering the pub lounge poured water from the vases over the chairs and tables and the flowers all over the floor. A couple in the group were also over heard by staff arguing about drugs and “being high in the pub”. Some members from this same group on Friday night bought underage people drinks, and when confronted about it were extremely disrespectful and rude to our staff.
This group is now barred.

We want everyone to enjoy themselves when visiting the pub, however feel we have to point out some very basic rules:

1. Pub property is to be used respectfully at all times.
2. No underage drinking.
3. 0 tolerance for any drug use at all.
4. Our staff will not be disrespected at any time, ever.

If these rules are broken, whoever responsible will be asked to leave and not welcome back

It’s not how we wanted to start our sunny season, but we feel that because of what’s happened we wanted to clarify

At the end of the day - this is our community village pub, and we work hard to provide an enjoyable safe atmosphere for you all. Please respect that and we hope to move forward more positively.
