Let’s support Leicester comedy!

We will be teaming up to make sure these amazing acts still get to perform, we are so lucky to have a grass roots arts scene keeping our city fun and fantastic

Support local and lets make 2027 comedy fest the best one yet 🫶🏽

Leicester WILL have a comedy festival next year, as two key individuals from the local comedy scene have announced a new major event.

Local comedy promoter Colin Bowles (Tripleceepee Promotions) and stand-up comedian Alex Hylton are behind the Independent Comedy Festival. The festival will take place in February 2027 and feature hundreds of shows across dozens of venues in the city of Leicester and the wider county.

"Hopefully comedians can trust that with one of their own kind at the helm, The Independent Comedy Festival will treat artists with the respect they deserve."
