New guest ale is coming soon 🍻..

Mallinsons Brewery
Pale Ale
4% strength

This is a single hopped, 4% golden pale ale. Brewed in Huddersfield, UK, it features light citrus hop nose, a solid resinous bitterness from Chinook hops, and a dry, crisp finish.

It should be available over the next few days.

Get a drink or few, and try some cheese purchased from our best of the best, Sherwin’s cheese at Leicester indoor market.

They have an incredible selection of cheese, and we always aim to make it colourful, interesting, & play away with different textures when preparing you the platters.

So pencil in your next visit on Wednesday the 24th of June ✏️..It always helps to wind down mid week so you can get though it!

Therefore, there’s no time for wondering to be or not to be..🤔

We would love to introduce you to another member of your small but mighty team at The Salmon!

Please see a message from Esme below, I’m sure you know her lovely face by now if you’ve been visiting us lately 🍻..

“Hi, my name is Esmé!🎀

You’ll probably spot me at The Salmon because of the bright pink hair before anything else 😂💖

When I’m not behind the bar, I’m studying Criminology with Forensic Psychology at University of Leicester, so I spend most of my time learning about crime, behaviour, and all things psychology 🕵️‍♀️📚

Alongside uni and pub life, I also run my own cleaning business, MaidbyEsme, which keeps me very busy but I genuinely love it 🧼✨

Most of my free time is spent listening to music, binge-watching true crime documentaries, or attempting to catch up on sleep that I’ll probably never recover 😭🎶

I’m always up for a laugh, a chat, and my drink of choice will forever be a vodka lemonade 🍸🍋

So if you see a pink-haired girl running around The Salmon, that’s definitely me, come say hi! 💅🍻”

Mat is back, who will be looking after yourselves this morning shift until 6pm. We all missed his face & presence🕺..

A bit of a later notice, but sometimes best things in life sometimes comes as a bit of..Surprise 🙀 🧀 🍇

We will have some complimentary cheese, grapes & biscuits this Wednesday with every purchase of a drink 🍻🥂..

It will be available for our opening at 12 for the regular customers, and there will be some prepared for our neighbours from Highcross social climbing. In the afternoon, around 9pm.

Come join us for some complimentary snacks, chat away & relax in our lovely air conditioned bar space 🧊👏..

There’s a beautiful outdoor space as well if you prefer to stay outdoors while the weather allows it ☀️ 🪴..

We have plenty of cold drinks, ales, ciders & alcohol free options available to wash the snacks down well 😏..
