Something magical is coming to King's Lynn... ✨🎄🧑‍🎄

Our Christmas Merchants Market returns for 2026! Join us on the 5th & 6th December at the Tuesday Market Place, 10am - 4pm, for a weekend full of unique gifts, festive treats and Christmas shopping! 🛍🎄

Browse a wide variety of local traders and discover special gifts, handmade treasures, festive decorations, local produce, flavoursome treats and stocking fillers. 🎁 Plus, there will be plenty to enjoy alongside your shopping, with artisan coffee and other warming drinks, loaded chips and delicious treats! ☕😋

For parents with little ones looking to add a little extra festive cheer to their Christmas celebrations, join us for Stories with Santa on the 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th December 2026, offering young children the chance to step inside a Christmas story and enjoy an unforgettable Christmas experience. 🎅📖

Stories with Santa invites little ones and their parents to gather together for a heartwarming storytelling session with Santa, Mother Christmas and one of Santa’s friendly helpers. As families settle in together, Santa’s helper will bring a festive tale to life. ✨📕

And, the magic doesn’t end when the story is over. Each child will receive a gift from Santa, and families will have the opportunity to take their own photographs with both Santa and Mother Christmas to capture the treasured moment. 🎁🤳

Stories with Santa will take place at 52 High Street, King’s Lynn, in what was the former Mira Mira shop. The experience will run from 9.30am to 4pm, with a break in the middle, and bookable 1 hour time slots.

Stories with Santa is appropriate for children up to the age of 10 and is a shared group session with other families.

There's so much happening in King's Lynn this November... 👇

The well-loved Fawkes in the Walks returns on 6 November, with the firework display starting at 8pm 🎆, followed by the Dragon Festival on the 7 November, a town-wide celebration of free family activities, performances, trails, games and more! 🐲

And then, the festivities begin, with a Christmas Candle Making & Cocktail Evening at WhataHoot🍹🕯️, Christmas Anthems Live at the Corn Exchange🎸, music and entertainment at the Christmas Light Switch On✨, plus True's Yard's Christmas Fair.🎄

Feeling creative? 🎨 There's a wide variety of craft workshops taking place at Pia's Place, and MAP has just launched an Art Group for those aged 11+.

There's plenty to enjoy of an evening, from Quiz Nights at local venues to Mingo Bingo at Tipsy Teapot, live performances, film showings, games nights and a night of house music at The Rathskeller. 🎶🎬🎲

The Dragon Festival takes place on the 7 November, a town-wide celebration bringing together some of the town's best known cultural and heritage venues for a day filled with free family activities, trails, performances, games and medieval entertainment.

Great news for King’s Lynn! 🎉

Our wonderful town has been named as one of seven best places to retire in England by travel publication WorldAtlas! 🤩

From the town’s rich medieval history and fantastic range of shops and services to scenic walks and more affordable property, there’s so much to love about King’s Lynn. ❤️ Plus, some of the much-loved landmarks including the Custom House, Hanse House and St George’s Guildhall were also among the highlights.

It’s brilliant to see King’s Lynn getting the recognition it deserves, shining a spotlight on everything that makes our town a great place to live, work and explore. ✨
