Perfect for anyone who has ever lost half their drink attempting what they believed was dancing or just getting back to their mates through the crowd.

Mingo Keith is on holiday.
The replacement flamingo is also now away.
The backup replacement flamingo mysteriously became unavailable at the last minute. 😔
So today's promotional activity consists of... a sign on the floor.

A-boards never ask for time off. A-boards never call in sick. A-boards are always where you left them.

Our flamingo has escaped and is currently standing outside Wimpy impersonating an A-board.
Please show some appreciation for the commitment involved, because that suit is essentially a giant wearable slow cooker.
While one team member is being gently poached for your entertainment, the rest of us are inside ready with:

🚨 TODAY’S THE DAY 🚨
All we wanted… was an A-board. 😂
You know… one little sign to remind people there are still independent businesses alive and kicking at this end of the high street serving tea, coffee, cocktails, lunch and dessert ☕🍰🍸
Instead, after being told no, the situation has escalated into:
➡️ a giant arrow
➡️ a rogue flamingo
➡️ and what can only be described as a full-scale avian publicity stunt outside Wimpy. 🦩
To be clear, the original A-board would’ve sat politely next to the bin causing absolutely zero public disorder.
But here we are.
The funny thing is… Mingo has already had more conversations with people in one morning than a normal sign ever would. Which probably says something important about independent businesses: People don’t want empty high streets. They want personality. Life. Fun. Human beings trying their best.
So to the policy-makers out there… help make working, work. Support the independents who are actually out here trying.
Anyway… if you see a flamingo holding a giant arrow in town today, give her a wave… and maybe remember there are real people, real teams behind and within all independent businesses just trying to get noticed. 🥰🦩
