Cheers to 21 Years! 🥂 It’s hard to believe, but after 21 wonderful years behind the bar, it’s time for me to hang up my heels... I have absolutely loved my time here at The Moon & Mushroom, and more than anything, I’ve loved meeting so many fantastic people along the way.

You have all made this place feel like home. 🌙 🍄

I’m hosting “a bit of a do” to say a proper goodbye and would love for you to join me for some drinks and a buffet to celebrate all the memories.

Well, that’s a wrap. I had an absolute ball today at the 5th annual The Moon And Mushroom dog show in Swilland. It was a huge honour to have been invited to open the show again - huge thanks to the inimitable Nikki Gavin!

It was great, as ever, to catch up with the AMAZING Dr Emily from Nightingale Vets, Jayne from Suffolk Animal Rescue, the wonderful team at Beardies in Need Group.and everyone who came out to support this fantastic event.

Huge thanks to everyone who has been involved behind the scenes, and in front, for making this another standout community event, and thanks to everyone who took part and supported our brilliant stall holders.

Looking forward to next year’s event already!

Only TWO DAYS to go! 🐶 We are excited to announce that County Councillor Elaine Bryce will be opening the show again this year. So, join us for our fifth Companion & Family Fun Dog Show on Sunday, September 6th, entries at 10am and the show kicks off from 11am. to 4pm.

With two competition rings, 16 show categories, a BBQ, drinks, and local maker stalls, there is something for everyone!

Schedule:
* Entries: 10:00 am
* Judging starts: 11:00 am

Ring 1: Pedigree Classes
1. Puppy (6–12 months)
2. Sporting
3. Non-sporting
4. Open
Followed by fun classes.

Ring 2: Good Citizen Bronze Award
This is the foundation level of the UK’s largest dog training programme, created by the Kennel Club. It teaches dogs to behave in a controlled manner in everyday situations and educates owners on responsible ownership. This will be judged by Angela Levell.

Any dog can take part, no matter the age or breed!

Followed by fun classes in ring 1.
