🍀 MEMORY MONDAY 🍀

A belter from the archives...

A young Keith Duffy, a pub full of characters, and a night that looks like it got a wee bit out of hand.

The faces may have changed over the years, but the spirit of Jinty’s never has.

Recognise anyone? Tag them below 👇

And while you’re at it, have a guess at the year this was taken...

35 years of good people, great nights and stories that probably get better every time they’re told. 🍻❤️

Another week, another seven nights of live music at Jinty’s!

Cara Gallagher gets things started tonight, with plenty of familiar faces taking to the stage throughout the week, including Jamie Rafferty, David McKellar, Maria McAveety, Matthew Gibb, Scott McWatt, the Sunday Trad Band and Alex Wayt.

As always, just good music, good pints and good company.

We’ll also have another Monday Memory coming later tonight as we continue celebrating 35 years of Jinty’s. Keep an eye out, tag your pals and see if you spot a familiar face from years gone by.

See you at the bar.

THROWBACK THURSDAY 🍀

Right then…

Who’s in this photo?

Tag them if you know them.

More importantly, what year are we looking at here? 👀

As we count down to our 35th birthday on 13th July, we’ll be digging through the archives and sharing some of the faces, memories and moments that helped make Jinty’s what it is today.

Over to you lot…

👇 Names. Stories. Dates. Let’s hear them. 🍻

35 Years of Jinty’s 🍀

On 13th July, Jinty’s turns 35.

Thirty-five years on Ashton Lane.

Thirty-five years of good pints, great music and plenty of craic.

Truth be told, not much has changed.

The same welcome. The same atmosphere. The same familiar faces behind the bar and across it.

While plenty has come and gone over the years, Jinty’s has always been Jinty’s.

So between now and our birthday on 13th July, we’ll be taking a look back through the archives and sharing some of the photos, stories and memories that got us here.

It seemed only right to start with Jinty herself.

If you’ve got an old photo tucked away, a favourite Jinty’s story, or a memory that still makes you smile, send it our way.
Here’s to 35 years.

And here’s to the next round. 🍻

Well, that was some weekend 🍻

The weather couldn’t quite make its mind up, but it didn’t stop anyone. The Ashton Lane Street Party was packed, the music was brilliant and the lane was buzzing from start to finish.

A big thank you to everyone who came along, grabbed a pint, sang along and made it what it was.

Now it’s on to a new week and another seven nights of live music at Jinty’s.

Starting tonight with David McKellar and finishing Sunday with the Trad Band and Liam McGrandles.

Same welcome. Same craic. Same lane.

See you at the bar.

Lovely weekend for a Street Party.

As if Ashton Lane needed an excuse.

The Street Party returns this weekend with live music, DJs, performers, food, drinks and good people from 12pm both days.

We’ll be doing what we always do – pouring proper pints, playing great music and welcoming anyone who fancies a seat, a sing-song or a bit of shelter if Glasgow remembers it’s Glasgow.

See you in the lane.

Usual Monday post …. Arriving on a Thursday because Glasgow decided to give us an actual summer for once ☀️

No complaints though. The lane has been busy, the pints have been cold and the music’s still on every night this week.

Back at it tonight with Maria McAveety from 9.30pm.

See you at the bar!
