What an incredible day! ⛳️

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Charity Golf Day – we had an amazing 128 golfers out on the course, all coming together to raise money for such an important cause supporting MND.

The atmosphere didn’t stop at the final hole… our after party was just as special, with a fantastic BBQ, live music, and a crowd that truly brought the energy all evening.

We did experience a few cellar issues that were unfortunately out of our control, but the way everyone responded was nothing short of brilliant – your patience, positivity, and support meant everything and helped keep the day running in great spirits.

We’re so grateful to each and every one of you for making the day such a success. 💙

Hi everyone,

just a quick update to let you know that bar & house will be closed today (27th) and tomorrow (28th) due to a technical issue with our cellar chiller.

We’re working to get everything sorted as quickly as possible and will be back open as soon as we can.

Today we see over 100 golfers taking part in our charity event in aid of The Motor Neurone Disease Association. We have had such a fantastic response to this event not just from golfers but from the local community supporting this not just with signing up to golf but with donating raffle prizes. Massive thanks to our friends across the golf community also for their amazing donations for our golf prizes.

This isn't just a golf event, it's open to everyone. We will have the bar open, bbq from around 1pm, bouncy castle for the kids and live music from 6pm. Please come along and join us to help raise as much money as we can for such an important cause.

We are expecting to be extremely busy so where possible please lift share as parking will be limited. Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking. For members who are aware of the club layout, please park near the greenkeep hut next to practice area to help our guests find a parking spot.

Lastly, massive thank you to Lewis Moody, the former England Rugby International for showing his support for today's event 💙 ❤️

We can't wait to see you all throughout the day.

We would like to let all members and friends know that our dad, Dennis Millward’s funeral will take place at Northop Crematorium at 12:00pm on 29th April 2026. Anyone who knew him is very welcome to attend and pay their respects. The wake will then be held at Flint Golf Club following the service.

As many of you will know, Dad was a much-valued and respected member of the club. He was extremely proud to have served as Club Captain in 2011, and over the years he built many friendships and left a lasting impression on so many people here.

The club meant a great deal to Dad, and to all of us as a family. It was always far more than just a place to play golf - it was his extended family. He truly valued the friendships, memories, and sense of belonging he found here.

He will be remembered as a true gentleman with a brilliant sense of humour, never afraid to say things as they were, always honest, and always able to bring laughter to those around him. We know he will be deeply missed by so many.

Thank you all for your kindness, support, and messages during this incredibly difficult time - it truly means a lot to us. ❤️
