With concerts, dance displays, meet the artist events, busking, informal music and song sessions

Over 2 decades, the seaport town of Fishguard

has been host to one of the UK's best small traditional music festivals, informal music and song sessions, the town will be filled with colourful displays of dancing, along with tunes, airs, jigs and reels. Also featured is the famous, popular guided 'Pirates and Smugglers' walk. The festival embraces the talents of old and young alike and actively encourages visitors to join in the sessions with the 'stars' of the show. Other events include a family twmpath or 2, free instrument and voice workshops, meet the artist events, busks, informal music and song sessions and the famous 'Mummers Play', depicting the last invasion of Great Britain. Everyone is a part of the entertainment - not just a spectator. There will be lots of opportunity to 'do your own thing'.

Diolch yn fawr iawn, to everyone who made this year’s Fishguard Folk Festival so special! 🎻

We want to give a massive thank you to all the artists, volunteers, venues and sponsors for their part in making it such a success. We can’t wait to do it all over again!!!

Thank you to everyone who came, bought tickets and donated! We would love to hear your highlights and favourite memories of the festival!
