One of Cornwall's most loved festival's returns to Events Square 7-10 October 2027, for a free-to-attend celebration of the Fal Native oyster and the start of the oyster dredging season! Packed with cookery demonstrations by leading local chefs, oysters, seafood, wine and local ale, sea shanties, a town parade, live music, an oyster shucking competition, a Falmouth Working Boat race and marquees brimming with Cornish produce; the festival is a must for all oyster, seafood and maritime heritage enthusiasts! Falmouth Oyster Festival has seen an increasing number of Cornish food and drink producers promoting their quality produce alongside the longstanding craft fair stalls in the festival marquee. Festival visitors can savour the expanding range of mouth watering Cornish food and drink, both on site whilst taking in the festival atmosphere or to take home and enjoy!

We're still sailing from last week's celebrations, but we've already set course for next year's Falmouth Oyster Festival, returning to Events Square Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th of October 2027.

We’ve hauled in our nets for 2026, but the dredging has just begun on the Fal Estuary, so keep supporting local, and eat lots of oysters! 🦪🥂

🚨 You may have seen Betty doing the rounds at Falmouth Oyster Festival this year! If there's one thing she does better than getting the crowd going, it's raising money for charity.

This year, Betty raised a grand total of £4258.21 (🤯) for Children's Hospice South West & The Fishermen's Mission - two hugely important charities that do some great work right here in Cornwall.

A huge thank you to all who donated, and an even bigger thank you to Betty for her incredible work all weekend! 👏

Head down this afternoon to slurp up the last of the Oyster Fest action for 2026, finishing with as tradition for the closing ceremony at 4pm 🍻

The final day of Falmouth Oyster Festival 2026! 🦪☀️

Don’t miss your last chance to enjoy fresh native oysters, delicious street food, live music, and family-friendly entertainment.

Catch the Falmouth Working Boat Race from Custom House Quay from 10am, savour the last chef demos & live music on Events Square, and tuck into a masterclass to see off the festival in style!

Make sure to get yourself to the tent in time for the Grand Raffle Draw live on stage at 3pm, followed by local legends performing the final ceremony from 4pm.
