Today we’re saying goodbye to a very special member of the Kernow**e family ❤️

Yesterday was Jess’s last day with us, and while we’re so excited for her next adventure, we’re going to miss her more than words can say.

Jess has been such a huge part of our team, bringing hard work, positivity, laughter, and so many great memories along the way. Her next chapter takes her all the way to Boston, and although Cornwall won’t be quite the same without her, we know she’s going to do amazing things.

Thank you, Jess, for everything you’ve done ✨ We’re so grateful for all the time, effort, and friendship you’ve given us.

Wishing you nothing but happiness, success, and adventure as you start this exciting new journey. Boston is lucky to have you ✈️🇺🇸

We’ve gone back to our classics in our latest small plates menu - simple but tasty AF.

1. Boquerones al vinagre (Spanish anchovies in vinegar) with vermouth, parsley, lemon, olive oil and olives
2. Frisée salad with pears, candied pear, walnuts, Gorgonzola and crispy prosciutto and a dill dressing
3. Little gem lettuce with Parmesan, truffle oil and truffle dust (vegan alternative)
4. Burrata Caponata - served with sozzled PX and Marsala raisins
5. Cajun fries and black truffle mayonnaise
6. Chorizo in red w**e & honey served with focaccia or baguette
7. Lebanese dips - hummus, muhammara (red peppers and walnuts) and Baba Ganoush (roasted aubergine) with toasted flatbreads
8. Jamón Ibérico, roasted red pepper strips and smoked almonds
9. Manchego and membrillo (quince jelly) with lemon zest, lavender, roasted pine nuts and truffle honey
10. Persian Saffron chicken (Zereshk Polo) - chicken in saffron, garlic, yoghurt and tomato served with jewelled rice and a sweet and sour saffron and barberry butter
11. Affogato - Cornish vanilla ice cream served with a shot of espresso and an optional shot of liqueur
12. Churros with a cinnamon sugar and a spiced chocolate dipping sauce

We’ve been recycling our corks with in Fowey since we opened in 2021 - and today we dropped a year’s worth round in two very large cardboard boxes.

Thanks to everyone who’s dropped in their used corks over the past 4.5 years - if you want to drop yours off, we have this lovey recycling box on the bar.
