The Southside of Edinburgh has long been home to some of the city’s most fascinating stories. Just a short walk from The Salisbury Arms stands the plaque marking the site of Robert Burns’ one and only meeting with Walter Scott – a reminder of the rich literary history woven through our neighbourhood.
As a proud Southside pub, we’re celebrating that connection with a special Burns’ 230th Death Anniversary evening, featuring a bespoke set menu, live music, and a chance to raise a glass to Scotland’s national bard.
Join us on 21st July for an evening of great food, live entertainment, and a celebration of both Burns and the historic corner of Edinburgh we call home.
