Swanys Bar Swanys To get a sense of the friendliness of Swany's, you just need to know how long manager Alan McDonald has been serving behind the bar.

He's been pulling pints (more than a few Belhaven) in this classic local since the mid-1990s and he welcomes the regulars as if it were his own front room. Everyone knows everyone, he says, in a pub that dates back to the 1950s. You can tell from the mix of national flags in the windows that this is a bar for football fans - and you can enjoy matches on three TV screens. It's also popular with the younger crowd who appreciate the late opening hours.
