We’ve come a long way since Exotic Cargo, The Society’s first clear glass bottle challenged expectations when it landed in 2017. Bold, unconventional, and unapologetically different, the inaugural ‘Heresy’ release sparked debate and turned heads. A blended malt from the Society? It was never going to go unnoticed.

Now our Heresy bottlings have become a much-loved corner of the Society’s range - a playground for experimentation and a celebration of creative freedom.

Join us on the 2nd of July for a guided five-dram tasting as we explore the evolution of Heresy: whiskies that defy convention, blur boundaries, and prove that some of the most exciting discoveries are found by taking the path less trodden.

This tasting includes five drams and a Society supper.

Get Into the Unknown: A Blind Whisky Experience 11/06/26

Are you ready to find out what you’re really drawn to when the label disappears?

Across the evening, you’ll guess, debate, doubt, and (occasionally) triumph as each whisky reveals just how surprising your instincts can be. It’s a chance to challenge assumptions, push your palate, and maybe uncover a new favourite you never knew you were into.

This small batch single malt was created in honour of Scotland's epic return to the World Cup stage. Originally filled to cask in 1998, the last time Scotland qualified with France as hosts, it's the perfect full-size bottling for every foot soldier in the Tartan Army.
An ultra-small batch drawn from just two casks: after 25 years, one was transferred to a first-fill American oak oloroso hogshead, while the other remained in bourbon before the two were married at bottling. The result? A surefire winner in our rich Smoky & Fruity flavour profile and a dram that’s sure to warm the senses, however well we do in the World Cup.
