A new chapter begins at The Fox as we welcome Head Chef Darren Somerton. With an extraordinary 35‑year career spanning beloved neighbourhood restaurants, prestigious London kitchens, The Savoy Hotel, and even the legendary QE II, Darren brings calm confidence, creativity and a deep love of hospitality to our team.

His Autumn menu launches Friday 23rd October, celebrating local produce and comforting seasonal flavours. Expect dishes like roasted fillet of hake or venison sausages in a red w**e and redcurrant jus with crispy shallots and creamy mash — alongside pub classics and irresistible desserts.

We’re now open for food every Sunday from 12pm right through to 5pm — giving you even more time to settle in, relax and enjoy the best of our kitchen.
