What a weekend, despite the weather we were amazed how many of you came to enjoy great b**r, amazing burgers, fab chicken, delicious cakes and brunch. We welcomed LUKE INKLE | WEST SUSSEX FOOD a really genuine reviewer, pop over to his page to see the video he made.
I can’t quite believe it’s November already but here we are and here’s what’s on. Burgers and Brunch get more popular every week so do book those especially, Tanj and Becky will both have specials this week that you will want to try ❤️

Who’s quizzing tonight, no boring marking or score collating it’s all done super fast by Rob Marsh (hence the name!!) music, fun, prizes and more! Cheer up a wet Wednesday and get over that hump and sail to the weekend!

It was wonderful to welcome Roast Club back with so many familiar faces this weekend, lots of food was consumed, lots of b**r drunk, happy birthdays sung, candles blown out and happy faces to be seen! Of course not a photo was taken so here’s a selection of incredible Burgers from The Burger Truck who will be with us 12 to 8 this Saturday.
Friday Freebird Fried Chicken will be with us, perfect for a delectable crispy chicken celebration to start half term. 6 to 9pm
Sunday it’s The Garden Chef and their ever popular brunches, if there’s a better full English out there, I’ve yet to find it! Book to be sure to get yours!

We are really sorry but due to delivery issues we won’t have Bratwurst tonight. (16th October) There will be fabulous b**rs and cinnamon bun bread and butter pudding…..

The big news this week is that Chimpanzee is back in the Tap Room and on line. This Great Taste 3* award winner packs a punch at 8.4% but drinks like a much lower ABV, remember, drink responsibly!!

This weekend sees the return of Roast Club too so there is plenty to celebrate. The field is closed now but tables will be back in the yard and Percy is there for company.

Friday it’s Bratwurst and B**r German bratwurst with a selection of toppings, rostis and fries. 6 to 9pm

Saturday and The Burger Truck is back grilling up some burger magic from 12 to 8pm

Sunday is Roast which as ever is fully booked, there will be The Garden Chef cakes and bakes to enjoy and seating in the yard if the weathers nice.

It is definitely pie weather! This Friday it’s beautiful homemade pies with The Garden Chef buttery mash and rich gravy. Don’t be sad that summers gone, autumn means comfort food ❤️

It’s definitely starting to feel a tiny bit autumnal or is that wishful thinking? Today was warm! Despite that our beautiful tree is decidedly red and mushrooms and fungi are everywhere. Perfect time for the return of pie night. Home made pies and buttery mash with a pint on a Friday night is the perfect British way to usher in the weekend and colder nights. Brunch is also back on Sunday, this was very popular this week so please book in advance to help The Garden Chef prep and order accordingly!

So this weekend looks like this

Friday 6 to 9pm pies with The Garden Chef
Famous Steak and missing Link Ale
Home grown venison, cranberry, red w**e and thyme.
Roast chicken, ham hock, mustard, parsley, chive and cream.

Saturday (come on by now you all know how good they are!!) 12 to 8pm

Sunday Brunch 10 to 2pm

Fabulous b**r - all weekend!
