What an evening! ❤️
Whilst we may not have won Best Pub in the South East, to be nominated in the top 3 pubs for West Sussex, and to receive an award for 'highly commended' within our first year means a lot!
Of course a massive thank you has to go to our incredible team, and to all our customers, without who an award like this wouldn't be possible.
Here's to next year !

🧑🏼‍🍳 We are currently seeking a talented Chef to join our ever expanding team!
Must be capable of preparing food from fresh & cooking homemade, high quality food in a fast paced, well equipped kitchen.
Experience in a kitchen is a must for this position, but could equally suit a capable trainee. 30/40 hours a week available, good rate of pay with a friendly team to work alongside.
Sorry, but temperamental, hot heads need not apply. We are a laid back team & we would like to keep it that way!

These are just some of our cute little salt & pepper pots. Available from Amazon for between £8-£12 a set.

For some reason, people seem to think it is ok to help themselves to these. In the last 3 months we have lost a pair of Jack Russells, a sausage dog hotdog, which was part of a set & now last night another set have gone walk abouts.

I really do not inderstand the mentality of some people that think it is perfectly acceptable to go & steal stuff. We work hard to provide a nice setting for people to come & enjoy & this is what we get in return.

If you have them, just drop them off. Leave them in the garden if you must.

Taking part in the big cycle? Why not stop at the actual half way point with us and enjoy a quick bite from the BBQ and a drink! We'll have the marquee up by the cross roads so you can refuel quickly and get back on your bikes, or stay a little longer on the picnic benches and watch your competitors pass by.
No need to book, just the perfect stopping point whilst you do your bit for charity!
