🎶 Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal circumstances within the band, today's performance has been cancelled.

We know many of you were looking forward to seeing them, and we're sorry for any disappointment this may cause. We wish the band all the very best and hope to welcome them back to The Crown soon.

The good news is that we're still open as usual! 🍻☀️

Whether you're popping in for a drink, catching up with friends or simply looking for a relaxing Sunday afternoon, we'd love to see you.

Please note that our back bar and garden area will be closed from 3pm due to a private function.

We’re so excited to welcome in the first half of our June events calendar — and this isn’t even everything we have planned… there’s still more to come! 👀

From community favourites like Craft & Chatter and Cribbage afternoons, to great food, great company and plenty happening throughout the month — there’s something for everyone here at The Crown. 💙

🌿 Hello June 🌿

Firstly, a huge thank you to every single one of you for your continued support of The Crown. Whether you’ve joined us for a quiet pint, Sunday lunch, one of our community events or simply popped in to say hello — we truly appreciate every visit.

And a special welcome to all the new faces we’ve seen throughout May too! It’s been lovely seeing more people discovering our little village pub. 💙

May certainly felt like a month of two halves… rain one minute, sunshine the next! 🌧️☀️ But here’s hoping June brings a little more warmth, plenty of garden weather and lots more good times together.

As always, we want The Crown to be at the heart of our community, so if there’s something you’d love to see us do — an event idea, club, theme night or anything else — please do let us know. We’re always keen to try new things and bring people together.

Another fantastic quiz night here at The Crown Capel.
Great to see so many returning faces but also some new ones too!
A bit of a tricky quiz this time round which led to some interesting results!
Thank you to Vicki for standing in as quiz mistress.

We raised an amazing £132 for The Amber Foundation, a great charity helping to support some of our local young adults.

We look forward to seeing you all again on the 23rd June for our next quiz night!
