My Father's favourite drink was a pint of Summer Lightening. My Father in Law's, a Dubonnet.

If you are able, please do share a favourite drink with loved ones today, at your local pub. It is a beautiful day and a pub is really a meeting of minds and communities.

Happy Fathers Day from all at the Bells.

A lovely evening had by all, as the Bells played the Newdigate Cricket Club in their annual cricket match.

Wonderful fun had by all. Some would say the result was already decided based on the fact the Bells had won the last 15yrs on the trot, but it came down to just 9 runs!

Now onto the Bowls club to see if the Bells can be victorious again (we have our doubts!)

May the changes begin.

From today we will have two permanent ale lines from (Ranmore and Shere Drop).

We will then have a Landlord's Line and a Local's Line.

From Wednesday, James kicks off with Hop Back Brewery and their Summer Lightening beer. A 5% pale that is lovely to drink in Summer, and his Dad's favourite beer so a sentimental addition.

The Local's Line starts with Long Blonde from Long Man Brewery, a lovely pale which is a lot lighter at 3.8% so a great balance with Summer Lightening. This will be on from Friday.

Then we are getting Verdant Brewery Tap going with Lightbulb returning to our lines. A fan favourite we hear, and ready to go Wednesday.

We now have the Beer Board up, so do write up your suggestions and we will ship them in.

Thanks to Pigs Ear for their support as we get this all going...

The positives (and negatives!) of mass events at the Bells.

So lovely to see everyone last night, but what did we all learn.

Any thoughts or feelings please do let us know.

Lets talk about food at the Bells...

Lots to get through, so a short version, and then a longer explanation given.

We hope it makes sense and do keep a look out in coming weeks as we evolve our day to day food options.

Do recommend any local suppliers, food trucks or businesses you would like to see brought to the Bells
