This Sunday, we’re kicking off our very first Sunday afternoon live music session at The Newton Arms — and you’re all invited! From 4pm–7pm, the brilliant Hayden Sorrenson will be filling the pub with great tunes and good vibes.

We’re kid & dog friendly, so bring the whole family for a proper sing-along. Doors open at 12pm — come early, grab a table, and settle in for a cracking afternoon.

Get ready everybody!! — this Saturday we’ve got the incredible Haydan bringing the house down with live entertainment from 9pm–12am… and who knows, maybe even a few cheeky encores if you shout loud enough! 🙏🤞

The bar swings open from 12pm, so grab your friends, your family, and claim the best table in the house before the music starts.

Don’t forget your sing‑along voices and a list of your favourite tunes — Haydan loves a good request and he’s ready to entertain you all night long.

Regrettably we must announce that we will no longer be running the Wednesday evening bingo at the Newton Arms.

To the few that have supported the bingo night over the past few months we offer our sincere thanks and hope to see you at future events at the Newton Arms.

We have a well supported and enjoyable quiz night every other Thursday from 8pm, the next quiz night is this week and we look forward to see you there.

Unfortunately, the Newton Arms is closed this evening due to the absolute state that 'Singleton and Smart Ltd' from Blackpool left the building in today. This company was employed by Trust Inns Ltd to replace fire doors and bring them up to spec. Our team will be pulling together to complete a deep clean this evening, and we'll be back open as usual tomorrow. It is safe to say these workmen will not be returning to finish the job!!
