It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dot (Dorothy Hunt), who passed away peacefully with Larry at her side at 9.45am on Monday 14th September❤️

Dot was a much-loved member of our family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We will forever cherish the memories we shared and carry her love in our hearts. She was an incredible Mum, Wife, Sister, Nana, Great nana and a very dear friend to many. As everyone that knew her would know she was the most beautiful and kind soul and she will be missed by many.

We kindly ask that you respect our family’s privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.

Rest peacefully, Dot. Our pub will never be the same without you. You will never be forgotten. 🕊️❤️

Hi guys, with the football on at 8pm today (which we will be showing) i would just like to remind everyone that our staff work incredibly hard during these times especially in this weather 🥵
Which brings me to the point that we will NOT tolerate customers thinking they are entitled to speak to, act or touch our bar staff inappropriately, we understand the frustration when the pub is busy and the bar is crowded but please just be patient. We had an incident last week with a customer thinking it was appropriate to lean over the bar and touch a female staff member. This will not and has never been tolerated although it happens more than you’d think!
We all work incredibly hard at the cross keys and we do not come to work to be abused or harassed, please just be respectful and mindful.
And to those customers who are absolutely wonderful and polite i’d like to thank you all for being patient and understanding! Hope to see everyone enjoying the game tonight! COME ON ENGLAND 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
