Our Lemon & Berry Eton Mess Cheesecake is everything you want from a proper treat. creamy lemon cheesecake on a buttery biscuit base, topped with vanilla ice cream, a generous helping of rich berry compote and crushed meringue.

It’s the first Wednesday of the month tomorrow which means.. 🥁
Our monthly open mic night hosted by Owen is back 🎸 as always, everyone’s welcome - come along, have a sing, have a listen or just have a pint!

It’s such a lovely reminder that you never truly know who is sitting at your table or walking through your doors. You don’t know what they may be going through, what they’ve been through, or what that particular visit means to them. They may be celebrating something incredibly special, marking a milestone, spending precious time with loved ones, or perhaps simply needing a little kindness that day.

This is exactly why we’re so proud of our team for giving the same warmth, care and genuine hospitality to each and every person who visits us. You just never know how much those little touches can mean to someone.

To know that we played even a small part in making such a meaningful celebration special is something we’re incredibly grateful for.

Oh Shotley Bridge, we bloody LOVE you !

We have the most amazing live music evening last night in our main bar. A drizzly evening outside, but step through the doors and it’s a different story…

The pub was buzzing and Ellie performance was absolutely incredible.

And this gorgeous Dolly tribute was the icing on the cake ♥️

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately… we’ve been making the most of a bit of time behind the scenes to give the pub and some of our hotel rooms some well-earned TLC after a busy summer season.

Nothing major just a fresh coat of paint and a few touch-ups here and there to keep our rooms feeling fresh, comfortable and welcoming as they should be. We take a lot of pride in our rooms and want them to feel just right for every guest who comes to stay with us. 🖌️

Anyway, enough about paint… we’ve got a great week ahead!

⚽️ Wednesday we’re showing the Newcastle v West Brom, kick-off at 7.45pm

🎶 Thursday – Live music with Ellie Caile in our main bar from 7.30pm 🤠

🍽️ It’s also the last week of our August specials, so there’s still time to squeeze in your favourite before they’re gone!

And as if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got Bank Holiday weekend just around the corner. 🍻

Plenty going on to see August out properly . hopefully we’ll see a few of you along the way! ❤️
