72 Holes in a day for Prostate Cancer

Starting at 6am on Friday 19 June 26, Charlie Barnes (Congleton Golf Club Junior Captain) and Owin Foster (last year's Junior Captain) will take on the 72 Hole Golf Challenge in a single day in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

A great cause and a significant challenge for Charlie and Owin who are real ambassadors for Congleton Golf Club, so if you would like to donate, whether just a £1 or something more, every bit will make a difference.

Town Championship - Sat 30th and Sun 31st May

Everyone at CGC would like to wish all Astbury Golf Club and Congleton Golf Club members playing in the annual Town Championship this weekend.
Thanks to Astbury for hosting on Saturday and we look forward to welcoming the 'Qualifiers' for the second round back at Congleton on Sunday.

Breakfast will be served as normal between 9am and 2pm on Sunday. If required, please book on 01260 273540.

Please note that Friday Dining will not be available on the 12th and 19th June due to other events being held at the club. Bookings are being taken for Friday 29 May, 5 June and 26 June.

Weekend Breakfast will be served as normal each Saturday and Sunday.

Major competition winner - Liam Dowdeswell

Sunday 17 May saw another of the Men's Major competitions here at Congleton Golf Club……The Roldane Cup.

Congratulations to Liam Dowdeswell who was the overall winner shooting a gross 74, less his 10 handicap giving him a nett score of 64. A great score indeed and a well-deserved winner.

Darren Keogh achieved the lowest gross score of 72 and was the competition runner-up with a 67 nett. Third place was our last year's club Captain Kevin Pass with a nett score of 68.

Well done again Liam and thanks to 50 players that took part on the day.
