Music Quiz Night tomorrow at the Wonky Pear!

Get your teams together and come down for a night of music, a few drinks and some friendly competition. Whether you’re a music buff or just fancy a good night out, everyone’s welcome!

No booking needed, just turn up and join in!

Tonight we’ve got Burger Chewsday, followed by Poems, Pints & Players on Thursday.

Plenty happening this week, so get yourselves down to the Pear!

Wednesday night sorted.

Music Quiz is back this Wednesday at 7pm. Get a team together, brush up on your music knowledge and come and have a go.

No booking, no entry fee. Just turn up and join in. There’s a bottle of Prosecco for the winning team, so at least there’s something worth arguing over.

Hosted by our very own local quizmaster, who knows a thing or two about keeping people entertained.

Wednesday 21st October | 7pm

Repping the new signage at The Pear! 🤩💪

Beartown has recently undergone a rebrand, and I have to say, the new look is a stunning piece of work.

There’s so much thought and detail behind it, bringing together the story of the ‘Bear and Bible’, a fascinating piece of Congleton’s history and the story behind how the town became known as Beartown over 400 years ago.

“Congleton Rare, Congleton Rare, Sold the Bible to Buy a Bear.”

A little bit of history, a lot of local pride, and a brilliant new look for Beartown& looks so well in The Pear!

A little change of plans for tonight’s live music!

Unfortunately, Robbie Kavanagh can no longer make it, but not to worry - Reeve is making a return to The Wonky Pear!

After such a great performance last week, we’re really pleased to have him back for another evening of live music.

Same place, same good atmosphere, just a change of artist.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming Robbie Cavanagh this Wednesday. Robbie is a fantastic, well-established artist and a pretty special addition to our music line-up. One we think you’ll really enjoy.

Friday & Saturday: Watercolour Workshops

Marianne is back with her watercolour workshops on Friday and Saturday morning, 10am-12pm. A lovely way to spend a morning.
