Help needed! Time to raid the kid's money box... As post offices and banks close around us getting coins for our float is getting trickier, so we're appealing to the community to help! Bring us £5 worth of 5ps, 10ps or 20ps and we'll obviously give you £5 back, but also a free coffee! We don't need 50ps or £1s, and we'll let you know when this round of cash collection is over so we're not overflowing with tiny coins! Many thanks in advance - time to smash the piggy banks for free caffeine...☕☕

Happy summer from The Green Lane Social! What better way to enjoy the heat than a spicy number from the excellent new offering in Chapel (bhukaraa) - fabulous curry, service and cold l***r 🍻 This is the moment to thank all of the brilliant staff that keep us functioning 52 weeks of the year, and equally all of our brilliant customers that enjoy our coffee, b**r, w**e, brunch, burgers and so much more. Great to see Bhukaraa so busy on a random Wednesday evening - keep buying and supporting local - we are blessed to live in an area with such quality available - have a marvellous summer all and we look forward to seeing you soon 😋😘🍷🥂☕🙏

Hot hot hot!! 🔥🥵🥵🥵🔥 Hope everyone is keeping cool... To preserve the life expectancy of our chef we will be running an amended menu for Thursday and Friday this week - apologies if your favourites have temporarily dropped off but we're trying to keep the temperature in the kitchen below 50 degrees! A reduced burger menu will also be in play for Friday evening. Many thanks for your understanding - hopefully back to normal Saturday and in the meantime why not pop in and enjoy a nutritious salad! 😋🍅🍉🥑

Hi Chinley! A local resident is gathering opinion on our little green space and would love a quick survey completed with your thoughts! 👇

Squirrel Green sits at the heart of Chinley Village. At present it is used primarily by dog walkers but I see it as an opportunity for creating a green space that can be used by the whole community.

I want to improve the way we use Squirrel Green, initially through the addition of picnic tables and planting.

It would be great to know how people feel about this before we go any further. It should only take a minute.
