There’s lots happening at the W**e Bar at the moment… 🍷

Eva and Olly are busy looking after our guests, and as a team we’re talking about and pulling together our What’s On calendar for the months ahead.

Partly so we know what’s going on, but more importantly so you do too!

We’ve got lots of ideas and plans coming together, but it also feels like a good time to remind you about everything already happening at the W**e Bar.
If you’ve only ever joined us upstairs for a drink, have you discovered our Cellar Restaurant yet?

Hidden beneath the W**e Bar is our intimate Cellar Restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. You can book a table in advance, or simply come along and join us.
Drink Up. Dine Down. 🍷

And don’t forget Sundays in the Cellar. If Sunday lunch is on your mind, come and spend it with us — relaxed dining, Sunday roasts and, of course, a great bottle of w**e.

Upstairs, you can pop in for a glass of w**e, cocktails or a bite to eat, or enjoy the Terrace when the weather allows.

And there’s plenty more coming… live music, special events, w**e evenings, Christmas and a few other things we’re working on behind the scenes. Watch this space for dates!

We’ll start sharing our What’s On properly as it all comes together.

One last summer Bank Holiday ☀️🥂 Monday 31st August

What a summer it’s been so far! We’ve loved the last month,the sunshine (and that heatwave!), busy days on the terrace, a buzzing W**e Bar and so many of you joining us downstairs in the Cellar Restaurant.

A huge thank you to everyone who has visited us. We genuinely love seeing all three spaces busy and full of familiar faces as well as plenty of new ones. 🤍

Now we’re looking forward to the last Bank Holiday of the summer!

This Bank Holiday Monday, we’ll be serving food from our Bar & Terrace Menu from 12–5pm.
We’re keeping an eye on the weather forecast, which we’re sure you are too! ☀️🤞 But whatever the weather, if you’re in town for the day, joining us for something to eat or simply popping in for a few drinks, we’d love to see you.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing guests enjoying a long lunch on the terrace. 🦞☀️

Today it was our Cold Seafood Platter – half lobster, shell-on prawns, smoked salmon, anchovies, marinated seafood, aioli, romesco, burnt lemon, mixed leaf salad and fresh sourdough – shared over a chilled glass of w**e in the sunshine.
