🏴⚽ SCOTLAND WORLD CUP AT SULWATH BREWERS? ⚽🏴
We’ve been giving a lot of thought to showing Scotland’s World Cup matches in the Taproom.
With the first game kicking off at 2am on a Saturday morning and the following group games kicking off at 11pm, we’re conscious of the impact that opening late into the night could have on our neighbours, as well as the additional staffing and operating costs involved.
For that reason, we’ve decided not to open for the first match and instead see what the appetite is for the remaining group games (and hopefully a few more after that! 🤞).
To make opening viable, we’d need to know numbers in advance. We’re therefore considering a £5 booking fee which would include:
🍺 Your first pint on arrival
⚽ Entry into our Scotland Score Prediction Competition
We’ll put 50p from every booking into a prize pot, with the winner taking home the pot as a Sulwath Brewers bar tab.
We’ll set a minimum number of bookings required for the event to go ahead. If we don’t reach that number, all booking fees will be refunded in full.
At this stage we’re simply trying to gauge interest before making a final decision.
