REINB**R IS BACK!
Yes, we know… it’s only October. We’ll leave the Christmas music off for now, but we’ve let the Reinb**r out early!
We wanted to give you plenty of time to sort the b**r lovers’ Christmas presents — and enjoy a Reinb**r yourself in the run-up. No need to wait until December for that.
Our 4.5% Spiced Festive Ale is back, with bottles in stock now and casks ready to head out to your locals.
Fancy a pint of Reinb**r at your local? Have a word with the bar team and ask them to get it in.

To everyone who joined us at the taproom for Drop the Pint Day, shared our posts or helped spread the word—thank you.

We were proud to represent Scotland in SIBA’s campaign line-up and bring the conversation about b**r duty to Castle Douglas.

Thanks also to Society of Independent Brewers - SIBA for bringing breweries, pubs and taprooms together behind the campaign.

Our 50p-off Galloway Gold weekend has finished, but the call for lower duty on draught b**r continues.

Drop the Pint Day has arrived—and there’s 50p off a pint of Galloway Gold at the Sulwath Taproom today and tomorrow.

We’re the only Scottish venue listed in Society of Independent Brewers - SIBA campaign line-up, and we’d love you to join us in Castle Douglas to help put local b**r on the map.

The campaign calls for lower duty on draught b**r to support pubs, taprooms and independent breweries. We’ve adapted our participation to meet Scottish licensing requirements and included Saturday in our offer too.

So whether you’re meeting a friend, visiting Castle Douglas or coming into the taproom for the first time, you’ll be welcome.

Great to see our b**rs finding a new home at The Wigtown Ploughman! 🍻

We made our first delivery this morning, and it’s fantastic to be joining their cask ale line-up.

A brilliant pub in the heart of Wigtown, and another great place to enjoy a pint of locally brewed Sulwath b**r.

Wowsers, what a Wigtown Book Festival! Congratulations to everyone involved who makes it such a success and continues to build on it year after year - really brilliant work!

A massive thank you to all the staff who work in our wee pub, too. They consistently go above and beyond, and it's been lovely to hear the tales of the festival from so many happy visitors and guests.

We're also really pleased to be adding Sulwath Brewery to our cask ale repertoire! Their first delivery arrived today and is just getting cosy and settling into the cellar as we type. Enjoy!! 🍻

FLYING THE FLAG FOR SCOTLAND

Sulwath is the only Scottish venue listed in SIBA’s Drop the Pint Day line-up—and we’re proud to bring the campaign to Castle Douglas.

Tomorrow, pubs and taprooms across the UK will be showing what German b**r tax levels could mean for the price of your pint. As SIBA highlights, the UK’s b**r tax rate is ten times Germany’s.

Here at Sulwath, we’re taking 50p off a pint of Galloway Gold. We’ve adapted our offer to meet Scottish licensing requirements, so it will be available on Saturday too.

For an independent brewery like ours, the pubs that serve our b**r and the people who support them matter a great deal.

They give locally brewed b**r a place on the bar. They provide jobs, bring people together and help keep our towns and villages welcoming.

That’s why Sulwath is backing SIBA’s Drop the Tap Tax campaign, calling for greater duty relief on draught b**r to support pubs, taprooms and independent breweries.
