Most bulk apparel orders slow down at the same three points. Here is what to fix before you even pick up the phone.

A vague brief is the biggest cause of delays. Confirm your colours, sizes, quantities and print placement first, and the whole thing moves faster.

Check your chosen product can actually carry your design. Fabric weight, garment colour and print area all change how the finished piece looks.

Collect size information from your whole group before you order. Sorting it afterwards is a round of back and forth nobody has time for.

And a supplier who meets your spec and turns orders around quickly is worth more than the cheapest unit price from one who can't. As one customer put it: "personalised service, a wide range of products to choose from, and they always meet our design specifications swiftly. Turnaround is very quick."

Treat that first enquiry as a conversation. The more you tell us upfront, the better the guidance you get back.

Swipe through for the five worth getting right before your next order. Questions? Give us a call on 01480 700370 or email [email protected].

Most people pick a decoration method before they know what it costs them. Embroidery on a lightweight tee, DTF on a fleece, no proof before a hundred units. Small calls that quietly undo a good order.

Here is what Danny Sharratt, Owner at Mitsa, wants you to know before you commit to anything.

Embroidery adds weight and texture. On very lightweight tees it can pucker the fabric and pull the neckline out of shape. Heavier blanks carry it cleanly.

DTF printing sits on the surface and works across a wider range of garment weights. It handles full colour and fine detail better than embroidery at small sizes.

The technique should follow the garment and the budget together. A method that looks sharp on a thick polo can look wrong on a thin cotton tee.

A detailed proof shows you exactly how your finished garment will look before anything is printed or stitched. Skipping it on a bulk order is where most regret begins.

Knowing which technique suits your garment, your design and your quantity is the kind of advice worth asking for before you spend. We are based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and our in-house team is here to help you get it right.

Five steps in the right order. That is how you avoid reorders.

Ordering hoodies in bulk for a school, team or event? There's a sequence that makes it simple, and it saves you the reorders, the rushed deliveries and the cost surprises that catch most bulk buyers out.

First, get a size tally from your whole group. Schools and clubs almost always need more mediums and larges than they expect, so count before you guess.

Lock your quantity next. Your quantity is what unlocks your unit price, so know your minimum run before you approach a print or embroidery supplier and your cost-per-head figure will be honest from day one.

Then choose a well-constructed blank. Something like the JH001 college hoodie, where the cotton faced fabric gives a proper surface for print or embroidery. Fabric weight and colour both change how the finish sits on the garment.

Confirm size, quantity and print brief together before you ask about lead time. That one conversation saves the last-minute rush.

A well-run bulk order feels managed at every stage, not guessed at. Save this guide and share it with whoever is co-ordinating your next order 👇

Most people think bold colour means a harder sell. One fuchsia hoodie disagrees.

There's a habit in bulk buying: default to navy or grey because bold colours feel like a risk. They aren't. A vivid JH001 hoodie orders and gets handed out just as cleanly as a safe neutral. The colour doesn't make the job harder, the assumption does.

For school leavers hoodies it matters even more. A grey one gets forgotten in a drawer. A fuchsia one is still being worn two years later, which is the whole point of a leavers hoodie. Standout colour is part of what makes it worth keeping.

Our done-for-you school leavers hoodie service handles all the coordination, so picking the bolder colour costs the organiser nothing extra. Safe feels low-risk. Sometimes fuchsia is the smarter choice.

Ready to skip the grey and order something people will actually wear? Have a look at Mitsa's school leavers hoodie service, or give us a call on 01480 700370.

Some things just find their spot and stay there.

The Brumble Bear by Mumbles is small enough to tuck into a gift bag, but the kind of thing that gets kept rather than passed on. Mumbles build their soft toys to last, and it shows.

At £9.20 it moves a gift from a token to something genuinely thoughtful. An easy yes for a new arrival, a fundraiser bundle, or a class thank you. Small presence, real staying power.

Take a close look at the Beechfield Morf Ombre. The colour fades through the fabric itself, so the shift is woven in rather than printed. That means it holds its look whether you pull it up over your face or fold it down at your collar.

One tube works as a neckwarmer, snood, balaclava or beanie, so there is less kit to carry when the weather turns. At £2.80, picking up a different colourway for every jacket in your wardrobe is an easy call.

The gradient is the detail a flat thumbnail can't show you. Up close is where it earns a second look. 👀

Work socks rarely get much thought until you find a pair that holds up through a full shift.

Most work gear gets noticed when it lets you down. Good socks just quietly get on with it, shift after shift, no fuss.

The Scruffs Worker Socks come as a 3-pack, enough to cover a full working week in one go. At £13.70, the cost per wear sorts itself out pretty fast. 🧦

Bunching, slipping, wearing thin at the heel: getting the basics right from the ground up matters. Our Fabric and Fit thinking applies to every layer, including the ones nobody sees.

Rainy mornings are easier when the right umbrella is already by the door.

Keys on the floor. Bag half-unloaded. One shoe off, one still on. The KiMood large golf umbrella is the tallest thing in the room, dripping quietly in the corner after the walk in.

Flash-lit and still wet, it has earned its spot.

The KiMood Large Golf Umbrella, £12.80 from Mitsa. Reach for it the moment the weather turns, and it does its job. ☔

You only really notice when the light drops and you realise you made the right call this morning.

Pulled it up on the way back and forgot I had it on for most of the afternoon, which is honestly the whole point. The Beechfield Morf Enhanced-Viz sits over the nose, stays there, and does the high-vis job without making a fuss about it.

Three pounds something. Mitsa have them if you want one.

Every size question you have before placing an order, answered in five slides.

Same label, three different shapes. Men's, women's, and unisex cuts carry the same size on the tag but differ in chest width, taper and silhouette, so a "medium" doesn't fit the same across ranges.

Kids sizing varies by brand too. Measure the chest at the fullest point and add 2 cm ease rather than trusting the age label.

The one rule worth keeping: size up for layering, large chest prints, or when you're between sizes. Hold for fitted or embroidered styles.

Chest first, label second. Screenshot the last slide and reach for it every time you order. 📏👕
