Ben & Heather welcome you to The Westie Pub Hub. A home-from-home on the hill

A FAMILY-RUN INDEPENDENT PUB WITH A CREATIVE EDGE

Built in 1852 and formerly known as the Belle Vue Inn, The West Hill Tavern - or The Westie as it is affectionately known by its locals - has been run by Ben & Heather Pistor since 2017. In 2020 they decided to take the Westie on a new adventure and transformed the pub into a day-to-night creative hub. The walls feature work for sale from local artists and makers. Current artists in residence include Amy Isle Freeman, F***y Fielding and Trash Flamingo. Brighton’s Black Rock coffee is their roastery of choice, you can fill up on oozy grilled cheese sandwiches & homemade cakes… plus there’s a few cocktail faves, free wifi and of course... beer. Plenty of beer. It is a pub after all. Pop up and say 'Hi', walk-ins are more than welcome, but if you'd like to book a table or showcase your own work, please mail [email protected].
