Expect a riotous flailing of limbs to be taking place as they tie your laces together with a glorious sonic jumble sale of singalong choruses, saxobones, banjos, punk-rock geetars and thundering drums

Monkey Bizzle- Hailing from the depths of the west country’s darkest crevices and armed with a set of technics, Monkey Bizzle set the scene alight with their rib-tickling hip-hop, funk. With more dreads than an anxiety attack, the Bizzle swing through genres with tounge-in-cheek sarcasm over the deepest of grooves that not even a lathe could cut. High energy lyrics and a Scrumpy & Western charm.

Big shout outs to the back stage technicians, the performers, the musicians and DJs, our superstar bar staff and all of you legends for coming down and having some fun 🙏

And a very special shout out to our amazing landlord and landlady Callum Rixson and Ashley Varley who steered the ship so smoothly throughout 👨‍✈️👩‍✈️

It takes a lot of time and planning to put this event on so we hope you all had a brilliant time! See you again next year!? 🤔

HUGE CONGRATS to the CHAMPIONS Focus Thirty who won two gigs at the Shoes next year and a full day recording sesh at Dominic Bailey-Clay 🎤

Wednesday night involved heaps of fun party games to celebrate SHOESFEST being 10 (ish) years old this year! 🎈

We kicked off early with ‘soak the grandlord’, raising over £200 for the NICU suite RUHX Charity 🙌🏼

The main party followed, involving pass the parcel, dance-offs, limbo, a birthday cake and a conga line stretching the whole pub 🕺

Massive shoutouts to our (not so) secret guest DJ and Josie Juggle SASS Events Ltd for keeping the party vibes flowing 🥳
