The Dog and Fox will be closed for the next 3 days. The pub will be open again at lunchtime on Friday the 9th of January.
This is to give the staff a few days of holiday and to allow some maintenance to be completed.
We look forward to seeing lots of hungry and thirsty people again when we open.
We hope that all our past, current and future customers have had a merry Christmas and wish them a happy 2026.

The super Moon at the Dog and Fox in Bradford on Avon. The weather is clear, so go for a walk and drop in for a drink and/or a traditional pub meal in front of the warm fire.

Christmas is nearly here. The Carollers are in the Clubroom at the Dog and Fox. They sing in the Sheffield style which are the old pub carols that were sung in past centuries. It is an annual event in the pub, we are one of the few pubs that maintains these traditions.

We had a fantastic Quiz Night and raised over £300 for First Steps. Cathy Hogg and her team did a fantastic job organising the event. We will do another in the Spring. This is about First Steps.

Our very popular Sunday lunches are getting very busy. The good Google reviews are bring in customers from far and wide. Plus of course, our local customers come back because they know all about the great atmosphere and good cheer. The secret is out!
