Imported Modelo is bar favourite. The father of cervesa, its clones are few and far between living up to the granddaddy, an especially special Especial
Brewed by Grupo Modelo in 1925, its stood the tests of time as South Americas favourites, soon to be one of the Great western arcade’s favourites too.

Although the recipe is now brewed in the UK through acquisition, we believe the original recipe is far greater than its Anglican ancestor, it’s good, but just not as good as the real deal.
That’s why you’ll never see it on tap, or in large bottles here
Only in it’s traditional small bottle, the way Mexico City intended 🇲🇽

Best served with a lime in the stem, originally done to deter flys due to citric acid, served with lime here cause it just tastes better 🍋‍🟩

With the Great Western Arcade being built in 1874, you’re bound to have some ghosts and goblins appear eventually

Troll is the Strongest of the Craddocks range, a beefy 5.4% but still rich and aromatic.
In the words of Birminghams own Mike skinner. it’s the cult classic, not best seller.
We’ve packed in enough malt to help carry the 5.4% rating, so you’re losing none of the flavour in the heavier profile, it’s dangerously easy to drink.

Did you know The Good Intent is built over locomotives going up to 100mph
The name “Great Western arcade”, where we are located, comes from the fact it’s situated over the Great Western line into London from snow hill.

Every half hour or so you can feel the trains rushing under your feet and slightly shake the building.
if you’re stood at the bar, you can feel the train passing under you, even down to the seperate carages, truly a crazy sensation to behold 🫨

A trainspotters bar if there ever was one 🚄
