🧀💙 CHEESE NIGHT IS BACK AT THE WELLINGTON! 💙🧀

Join us on Wednesday 2nd September at 7:30pm for another evening of good cheese, good company and, most importantly, raising money for a great cause. 🧀🍷

This month’s Cheese Night is being held in honour of Brian, who sadly passed away recently. ❤️

All proceeds this month will go to the Injured Jockeys Fund, a charity supporting jockeys who have suffered life-changing injuries.

And a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our last Cheese Night — together you raised an amazing £220 for Cat Among The Pigeons! 👏❤️

Bring along some cheese to donate and you’ll get first call when it’s time to tuck in!

Alternatively, you can simply make a donation to this month’s chosen charity and enjoy the cheeses on offer. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Charity Cheese Night at The Wellington! 🧀🍻

This month’s event was held in aid of Cat Amongst the Pigeons and in memory of Brian Kilner, who sadly passed away recently. Brian was the person who came up with the idea of our Charity Cheese Nights, making this an especially meaningful evening as we celebrated his legacy while supporting a wonderful cause.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised an amazing £210 for Cat Amongst the Pigeons – and we’re thrilled to say it was our busiest Cheese Night of the year!

A huge shout-out to Cat Amongst the Pigeons, a fantastic local rescue dedicated to helping lost, abandoned, homeless, sick and injured animals, particularly cats and pigeons. They provide shelter, food, veterinary care and rehabilitation, giving every animal the best chance of finding a loving home or lifelong sanctuary. 🐱🕊️❤️(I have tagged them, please give them a follow)

Thank you to everyone who came along, enjoyed the cheese, donated and helped make the evening such a success. Your support means so much to our pub community and the charities we support.

If you missed this one, don’t worry—our Cheese Nights take place on the first Wednesday of every month, and everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you at the next one!
