This October, The Old Contemptibles will be joining managers from Nicholson’s pubs across Birmingham to take part in the Mitchells & Butlers National Sleep Out, supporting Social Bite and their mission to end homelessness.

Our General Manager Rob will be braving the cold overnight, standing in solidarity with people experiencing homelessness and raising vital funds for projects that help individuals move towards safety, stability, and a fresh start.

Every donation goes directly to Social Bite, a charity working to break the cycle of homelessness through free meals, supported employment, and safe places to stay. Their vision is a society where no one is left without a home.

Your support genuinely has the power to give someone vulnerable a life‑changing opportunity.

Some spaces still up for grabs for our Open Mic Afternoon on 26th September, running 2pm–6pm. If you’ve got something to share, all you need to do is plug in and go. Proper easy, proper welcoming, proper Brum.
