Our pub is perfect for any event, with two large rooms and an outside v**e area, we take care of the catering, including our brilliant grazing tables! Our opening times have been slightly changed over this StourJam weekend at The Hope & Anchor. Apologies if you came last night and found us closed at 8pm - we had sold out of cobs, and we had to make the choice to divert all available staff to our sister-pub, The Swan, which was a tad busy.

Today, Sunday, we will be open slightly later than midday - we're just setting up at The Swan for another incredible day full of live music, DJ's and poetry!

Thanks for supporting us. Normal service will resume shortly.

It's day two of STOURJAM around town, and our sister-pub The Swan was rammed with lovers of live music!

The Hope & Anchor have chosen to be 'music-free' this weekend, offering a quiet zone to retreat to! We do the most amazing cobs too - sorry if you couldn't get one yesterday - you cleared us out!

Our FOURSISTERS Mama, Tracey, has a big birthday coming up!
We couldn't do what we do without her - she is one special lady.
So, on Friday 12th June from 7.30pm we are celebrating with a full on Hope & Anchor party!
