WE GOT TWO MF PIIIIIIIINS!! 📌 📌

Not so long ago, we reapplied to be considered for a higher pin status from the prestigious and wonderful The Pinnacle Guide — and somehow, WE’VE DONE IT.

We never spot the mystery guests.
So, whoever you are: WELL DONE, SLY DAWGS 🫦

We are completely over the moon to gain our shiny new pin. It means the world to our little neighbourhood spot, our community, and all our wonderful regulars — thank you for helping put Stirchley + Birmingham on the map, once again. 💚

NEW POTATO IN THE COOOOOOOOOUUUUCH❕

Some of you have already met Leah,
But it’s time to introduce her to the many!!

It was really time to introduce an adorable kind person to this team of old mashed potatoes 🥔
She is a welcome energy to this team and we are really pleased to have her.

With a barista background, she knows flavour, service and looking after people very well and is FRESH to the cocktail world.

We are so excited to train Leah up on the bar, catch her on the floor being a LEGEND right now and watch her flourish into a better bartender than the rest of us.

We’re bringing together ice cream, booze & classic couch vibe for one seriously icy, boozy day out. 🐼❄️

Behind the bar? The legendary Iain McPherson — Innovator of the Year, Altos Bartender’s Bartender of the Year, owner of one of the world’s best bars with THE world’s best menu…and, most importantly, a certified ice cream maker and lover of all things sub-zero. 🥶🍨

But for this one, he’s handing over the frozen reins to MINUS-MOB for a ONE-DAY-ONLY Cocktail + Ice Cream Party!
Many of you already know how innovative the Minus Mob gang are, so know you’re in for a treat.

The Garden is open and shaded so you can enjoy the heat without the burn

All our glassware is frozen for extra refreshing-ness

Fighting through the pain is a little out of reach for us this week, so to ensure the bar stays open we’ve called upon our friends from across the UK to take over our little Neighbourhood gem.

BAD LUCK, BROKEN BODIES 🫠

We genuinely really bloody hate having to close, it’s incredibly frustrating and we sincerely apologise to anyone whose plans are affected tonight.

Lately we have been running on skeleton staff and the help of some friends picking up shifts here and there. Unfortunately, today it has all come to a head.

Katie has a torn thigh muscle
Courtney has a sprained ankle
Jacob has a torn rotator cuff
Danny has… well, take your pick enit

The risk of running a modest operation with limited staff is that the risk of closing for a night is drastically increased and today we are really unlucky, especially just after having the venue refurbed.

But, health comes first. So, hopefully, after some rest, painkillers and a bit of luck we will be back open tomorrow evening ready to serve all you lovely people.

Once again, our sincerest apologies and catch y’all soon.
